Obama’s First 100 Days
President Barack Obama’s first 100 days in office were closely examined by the news media. Watch a video summary from CNN, consult a scorecard compiled by NPR, or read blog posts on specific topics on the Wall Street Journal’s website.

Preparing for Court
A video on the website of the King County Courthouse titled "Your Day in Court" tells you how to prepare yourself if you need to appear in court. Topics covered include finding out where to go, what to bring with you, filing legal documents, representing yourself without a lawyer, preparing evidence and exhibits, and speaking in front of a judge.

You, the Jury

"The American system of trial by jury is unique. No other nation relies so heavily on ordinary citizens to make its most important decisions about law, business practice, and personal liberty--even death. Ideally, Americans take their participation seriously lest they someday stand before their peers seeking justice." -Stephen J. Adler, journalist and author.
